Une Echarpe Trouee
  1 customer review

Une Echarpe Trouee translated means 'a scarf full of holes'.

The open, airy look of this wrap makes it a great pattern for Spring or Summer when knit in a cotton, linen or silk yarn. Despite the 'holes' it's surprisingly warm, and would also be suitable for Fall or mild Winter weather when knit in a wool or alpaca yarn instead.

This wrap is constructed using two strands of fingering weight yarn held together, with yarn over wraps that are dropped to create "holes" of varying sizes. Because it is worked with only knit stitches, this pattern is suitable for a beginner with a few projects under their belt.

The finished scarf as written measures about 18" wide, and 56" total length, unblocked, without fringe. The pattern also has tips for making it narrower or wider, as well as information about adding a simple fringe.
