Totem is a skin-caressing mohair/silk eternity ring that makes a wonderful gift for a friend or a treat for yourself. It begins with a provisional cast-on and is then knitted from side to side in rows. When wanted length is reached, the provisional stitches are removed and the live stitches slipped onto a second needle. The piece is blocked directly on the needles and, when dry, joined with a 3-needle bind-off. It's done!
