The Road Not Taken Wrap and Throw
This design is about choices and was inspired by Robert Frost’'s poem “The Road Not Taken”. The first line of the poem “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood…” is graphically depicted both in the textured stitch pattern (created with just knits and purls) and in the yarn color of the sample.
The Road Not Taken comes in 2 sizes: a comfy throw and a rectangular wrap. Directions are provided in both written and charted formats.
This is a relaxing knit because the pattern is repetitive enough to allow the knitter'’s mind to be focused upon other things: perhaps roads they'’ve taken; or choices the recipient may need to make. Knit Pick’s' sumptuous Billow, bulky, Pima cotton yarn makes an amazingly soft fabric that is an absolute pleasure to create. The bulky yarn works up quickly, too!
A section with tips to help newer knitters master the pattern is included.
