Pinnate Dress

This dress was designed for my daughter who loves to wear pretty, feminine dresses with loads of detail and as long a hem as possible. Pinnate was designed to have a detailed lace section while still being appropriate for a young girl to wear. The skirt is full without being overwhelming and the bottom lace hem gives detail without being fussy. The lace back panel allows the hem of the skirt in the back to dip lower than the front which means the hem can appear lower but not trip the child. Pinnate was named after the feather-like features of a lavender flower; the lace in this pattern mimics the structure of the petals.
