Front panel of each pillow case is worked in Intarsia color work technique and presents image of Matryoshka DollBack panel is worked in Seed stitch pattern. Pillow case also has zipper closure. For neater look sides that zipper will be sewn on are finished with I-cord BO technique, which is described at I-cord bind-off. To avoid using multiple bobbins of yarn, smaller details like face expression and outfit embellishments are worked in Duplicate Stitch Embroidery technique.
