Hidden Luxuries Hat
The colored silk lining in a leather handbag, the red sole under sensible black heels—a brilliant pop of color that only the wearer knows is there is the epitome of luxury. In this vein, Hidden Luxuries is a double brim beanie that’s hiding a fun, bright interior.
The hat begins with a provisional cast on, then half the brim is worked in the CC and half in the MC. The live and provisional sts are then joined to form the double brim with the CC on the inside, and the rest of the hat is worked in simple stockinette with a distinctive set of crown decreases.
Note: You'll need a spare set of needles up to four sizes smaller than size used to obtain gauge for holding provisional sts for joining rnd.
