The Gridlines Cowl came about through inspiration from a handwoven African market basket I own. The simple, symmetrical blend of colors created something that, to me, seemed brimming with possibility. Now, as the pattern comes into being, it does not seem African in nature, but seems to represent order or disorder, depending on what colors you choose!
Gridlines is a straightforward colorwork pattern that can be done in two colors, three colors, or a hundred colors! You get to decide. It's great for colorwork newbies or those looking to eat up some yarn scraps in a creative, colorful way.
