Exo Hat
Exo is a toasty warm hat thanks to the rustic nature of the worsted weight tweed yarn and the stranded colorwork pattern. It features one of the most traditional elements of Fair Isle knitting: the XO Pattern. This simple border of monochrome colorwork is a subtle nod to the homeland of tweed, but is equally at home as a statement accessory for any modern outfit.
The hat is knit in the round from brim to crown. The twisted rib brim is knit double length, folded under, and then knit together for a double layer of extra warmth. This pattern comes with two colorwork charts to choose from: a geometric version of the XO for a unisex hat and a more feminine, slightly floral looking version.
