Ella, the elephant with hearts. As a small decorations several small hearts are knitted around the body using stranded color work technique. The trunk and head is done in one piece. The legs are knitted separately, then joined with the underbody and continued as the body in one piece. The ears and tusks are knitted separately. The head and the ears are sewn onto the body. It is optional to use duplicate stitch instead of the stranded color work.
Some colors used in the sample are no longer available. We have made substitution suggestions in the Kit Builder below.
