Easy Cables Hat
This bulky hat was inspired by chilly days spent playing outside in the Pacific Northwest with ones' kids. A relatively easy yet interesting knit, the moderate cabling adds both a touch of warmth and style.
The pattern is worked from brim to crown. The generous brim can be rolled up for extra warmth over your ears. Simple cables over ribbing make this hat very stretchy and ensure a good fit. The symmetrical crown is visually interesting by itself, but a big fun pom-pom will make a statement. With three sizes to choose from, you can make this a family affair.
