When my old washer died, one of the requirements for me was to have a center agitator. But the new machine just swishes instead of agitate. I've done several pieces by hand and have several that need to be felted. It was too hot here this summer to felt. It can be messy and I suggest doing it outside. It is a fun process. It really helped me understand more about the felting process.
