Knitting Community

To the entire KP knitting community:

Many knitters would like to see the Stroll Tweed line return. KP discontinued this line because it was not very popular. We would like to see it back. If you are in agreement would you please leave a comment below to let KP know you would like to see it become available again.

For a little incentive, sit back and enjoy a little food and entertainment.

Dear KP:

There are so many knitters who are upset that you discontinued Stroll Tweed. It was one of the nicest tweeds we've ever used. We don't believe we've seen it in fingering weight anywhere else. The below individuals would like for you to consider bringing back Stroll Tweed. As an alternate, Peggy Stuart says she used a carryalong yarn at one time that created a tweed effect with any yarn you choose. Is there a possibility of KP carrying such a product if you decide not to bring back Stroll Tweed.

Thank you,
Cheryl Waters

I like this suggestion, Cheryl.  I didn't get 'in' on any of the tweed, and it would be fun to knit tweed socks.  I'd sure buy some.

Oops! "One-at-a-time!"

I'm a one-at-a-tim kinda girl. With each of my kids, I prayed they weren't twins! I'm too focused. I have NO single socks! When I finish one, I can't wait to make the other! I'm really glad we have so many different techniques, though. I think it's fun that we're all different!

Hi, Cheryl. Yep, especially a pattern in a book that was just published earlier this year. I have Melissa's first book and couldn't wait until this one became available. After my first pair of socks took over a year to knit, I decided it was "two at a time" from now on.

Jill, don't you just hate it when you buy a book only to find the yarn is discontinued.

That's the color I used on these.

Please bring back Stroll Tweed. I just bought "Toe Up 2-at-a-Time Socks" by Melissa Morgan-Oaks and she has a pattern in the book that uses Stroll Tweed in Plum.

I ordered the bare since they had discontinued the tweed.

I hope they don't discontinue the bare version. Maybe I should have ordered more...
