We had our Yarn Tasting Event last night and I, ummm- the new yarn, was quite popular!

Look at all these lovely Yarn Truffles everyone got to take home with them!

Mommy and Alison ran the drawing for prizes - Options Needles sets, project kits and skeins of our new sock yarns!

Then, we had a question and answer session with our panel of designers - Kerin, Nina, David and Rodger.

It was quite a party!!

I started knitting at age 52, put it down discouraged but sad. Picked it up again last year and knit lots of plain scarves and blankets. Then I found you folks and WOW did you teach me. I'm now on my fifth pair of socks (thanks to Kelley's sock class - which I rewind and pause and watch every time I knit a pair). I'm addicted as my monthly orders show; wish I could move to Portland. I am so audio/visual I wanted to ask of you (Kelley) are thinking of doing a "toe up" sock tutorial and/or a "two at once" magic loop. I just can't do it, no matter how detailed the instructions of patterns.
I love all your videos and tours of the office - what a special place you are.

Well, I think both are very sweet. My No. 2 son is trying to talk me into another dog. But I just can't take on the additional responsibility at this time and it wouldn't be fair to any dog. ♥c

I love Honey above all other dog. The is the sweetest and most loving dog
I have ev"
e:?>r had. I think she's very pretty and I wouldn't trade her . However,
I do think that Xena is so pretty and precious. That doesn't take a thing away
from my Honey, -- Judith

But Judith, your little Honey is so sweet. I can remember she stood by you that time you fell. No, offense intended, Xena, because I get the impression you are just as sweet. ♥c

Every time I see a picture of your sweet self my hands just ache
to get you in them and pet and scratch and kiss. My little girl Honey
is pretty but you really take the prize. -- Judith
