Melissa, Let my begin by saying that "color work" is NOT one of my knitting skills. I've done a few two tone items, but very few. And the idea of doing stranded color work is not something I'm going to jump on tomorrow; HOWEVER, Mary Scott Huff is such a delightful lady, and to hear her Knitting Theory 101 was so eye opening and "freeing" that she is now one of my favorites even though I have not purchased the book yet. Such a wonder podcast. --Susan

Morlee, I'm excited to make the bee cardigan myself using Palette. It's written for two sizes: 22" (30"). It calls for 3 (4) balls each of the main color (yellow) and the cc1 (brown), and 1 ball each of cc2 (cream) and cc3 (green). If you want to make it as close to possible as the book colors, I recommend Semolina or Cornmeal (depending on how bright you want it), Bark, Cream, and Edamame.

I LOVED THE INTERVIEW AND THE BOOK IS IN MY CART AS WE SPEEK. IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GET AN IDEA OF THE YARN I NEED TO KNIT A PATTERN IN THE BOOK SO I CAN START RIGHT AWAY WHEN IT ARRIVES? I THINK I WANT TO KNIT SEVERAL. LOVED THE BEEHIVE.

The book is totally fantastic!! Such a fresh, new look at applying the classic techniques. Her humor and manner supported the feeling of the book--such freedom and joy in her knitting. Many of her attitudes remind me of EZ--I can read through the books and chuckle as you see the person come clearly through the pages. The interview is excellent--seems to capture her essence, her creativity and her enthusiasm for the art of knitting!! great job, Melissa!!--thanks!!
