Finished entrelac sweater - finally!

I started this summer sweater back in the spring and here it is November before I finally finished it.

I like the yarn, but I'm afraid it is going to catch on everything. It's a ribbon wrapped with a shiny thread, and I was constantly snagging it while I was working with it. I made the sleeves slightly longer than the pattern called for and I changed needle sizes twice to get the gauge between the entrelac sections and the purple ripple pattern. I like how the decrease was done by making each round of entrelac blocks smaller. The shoulder seams and setting in the sleeves was the only sewing. Since the shoulder seam is matching up the entrelac blocks, it is very well hidden.

What a gorgeous sweater! I think the design, altered, would be cute as a child's dress, too.

Lovely sweater! I'm a huge fan of entrelac, and I think it's great how it's integrated into the design here.
