Until recently I had about 3 Dolls Houses which I had fully furnished. I thought some of the knitted items I had made might give somebody the idea to be creative and make their own versions as wonderful Christmas gifts for children and grandchildren. These items were all 1/12th scale.
For the bathroom items, I used some very fine boucle knit in garter stitch for making miniature towels and flannels. I embroiderd a tiny motif on a corner of the flannels, and rolled up a matching towel and secured with fine ribbon

.

Washcloth or teatowel for the kitchen

I also made a cream boucle bath robe.

Little handbags are easy to knit or crochet, adding beads for trims or fasteners.

For the nursery use fine yarn to make knitted cot blankets.

Little jumpers can have a cardboard insert to keep their shape.

Get carried away making an assortment of knitted or crochet hats.

You can leave these small items of clothes out on the beds or chairs. I'm sure once started, like me, you can think of all sorts of other things like cushions, scarves etc.
It is probably worth mentioning that these small items do not cost much to make and can be sold quite profitably on ebay in the dolls House Section.
As for my knits for this week, well I haven't got very much happening at all. Nearly finished the sleeves of the tweedy cardigan, and just got past the heel on a pair of fine spun Jacob socks in boring shades of grey that match the horrible weather we have been having lately. I'm going to go on a pattern browse to try and find something I will really enjoy knitting to cheer myself up.
