Early this week I received a package from a dear knitting friend. Inside I found this note -

Notice to the reference that my friend kept this in her knitting bag and thought I would enjoy one myself. The box was very small and well padded with a layer of bubble wrap. I'm thinking, "Europe! Maybe a lovely painted tin for my stitch markers. Or, some sort of fancy tape measure.

It's a tiny, tiny speaker for my iTouch!! And, you cannot believe the sound quality!! I called every geek in the building into my office to show off my newest gadget!

My little Lifetrons DrumBass Leather Rechargeable Speaker comes with a cute pouch and I am definitely going to keep it in whatever knitting bag I am dragging around each day!!

Kelley, you could do one with more than one compartment. One for storing your iPod, one for the speaker and perhaps a third for cords, etc. ♥c

Juliana!! Love your DCP851DVD player! What a perfect thing for people who travel a lot! Or, I could have one in my office to play favorite movies while I wait for Bob to finish up at the end of the day.

A felted bag! Brilliant!! Thank you!! I am going to be dragging this speaker around all over and the felted case would make it much less stressful!

Oh my goodness, that is a wonderful gift!
I carry Phillips DCP851DVD player with iPod Dock when I travel. I listen to you while knitting or do my Yoga in my hotel rooms.

OOPS! I just remembered that one of the reviews that the black
dye of the cloth carrying case fades onto the speaker. I figure I
can either make one or find a substitute without a lot of effort.

I absolutely couldn't afford Kelley's Cadillac speaker but I found one
@ for $31.00 including postage AND it's purple. It's
the iLUV stereo speaker. Has great tone and a wide range on the
volume. Plus it came with a card for 50 free song downloads and 1
free audiobook. It runs on 3 AAA batteries. They have a wide variety
of iPod speakers, some with rechargeable batteries, some AC adapters.
There are a wide range of prices.

I've had something similar for about a month now, and I love mine!! I have a Yuento music balloon that I bought at for about $30 - although they don't seem to have them on the site right now. If you want a portable, external speaker for your iPod, try to find this one - it's great for the price.

Oh, Kelley,
What a great friend! All my friends are low income. Think I'm going to have
to find a more economical option. I've been wanting something like this ever
since I got my touch. -- Judith
