Does anyone have a method for converting a bottoms up pattern to top down?

Walker's book is called Knitting from the Top (I think). There are also some recent knitting books that provide sweater patterns done from the top down. Sidna Farley also has a book (that's probably out of print) called Seamless Sweaters.

Anne, Barbara Walker's book has a method. I tend to work the body of a sweater from the bottom up, then I do the sleeves from top down. If you're interested in the latter, drop me a note.
