Knitting Community

yes, i have gone hat crazy. After a couple scarves, washcloths, and little toys, i discovered how awesome hats are - they are quick, easy, fun, USEFUL, and a great way to try out new techniques. And everyone loves a cute hat for their sweet little one's sweet little head.

Here are the first ones that i made, just in time for my little one to wear home from the hospital, back in June...

Tomato hat - online pattern Here

This is in wool. This is a basic, rolled brim hat, with some color work for the calyx part. BTW, i also made the quilt Hugo is lying on, and the prayer beads as well.

Lemon hat - basic hat, with a leaf on top

This hat is in cotton. It is much more droopy than the wool hat, so i probably won't use cotton again.
