have been surrounded by knitters/tatters/crocheters/sewers all my life and knew how to do all of them (Jill of all.......pretty good knitter) - decided to add an another dimension of fibre works to the family....had the wonderful fortune of being able to study weaving under the tulege of Stan Zielinski. Marriage, babies, divorce - you know, the classic saga led me away from weaving ~ still have my loom (8 harness Gilmore) but now I am back to knitting furiously! My husband calls me a "knittomanic".
Have a wonderful, supportive husband, 2 fantastic daughters and 5 grandkids. Also have rescued border collie/great pyrneses mix and a F1 labradoodle, tuxcedo cat and senagal parrot and lots of dust bunnies when I'm in the throds of a project!
What's your Ravelry ID (if you have one)? (www.ravelry.com)

Hi there! was thinking about you yesterday! Am finally on the mend - it's been horrible! Anyway - stopped on bag and am now doing the Market Tote. Kit was Mother's Day present. Going much faster than bag! LOL! Guess that will be graduation present with goodies stuffed inside and bag will be for b'day!
Hope you have a good holiday and take care!
I hope you're feeling well now and having a wonderful holiday. How are you doing on your bag? I put my last two away for a while to catch up on some other knitting.
I'm so sorry you're feeling bad and I wish you a quick recovery. Also, a very happy Mother's day to you also.
Those socks were a copy of a vintage pair I bought on eBay. I copied them but my version I called "Texas Wild Flowers". When I make my stripes I don't use their knitted blanks, I walk around chairs with the yarn in my driveway then tie sections and dye each section. My son says a 440 yard hank is 1/4 mile so I get my exercise at the same time. And no, I did not get your comment, must have gotten lost along the way.
Hope your feeling better real soon.
I added a few sock pictures to my album. I dye all of my stripe yarn myself. Most people think I'm crazy to do this but I love having all my one of a kind socks.
Oh my, where are you stuck? Once you finish the side you have to pick up 240 sts from provisional caston, which to me is the hardest part of this pattern. I picked them up with a size 1 needle and where it won't ravel back I clipped the waste yarn as I go. I wish I was close enough to help you. Let me know how you're stuck.
I'm rolling along on my tranquil bag. I'm about half way through the first side. I chose to do the alternate colorway and I am not going to put the white in the center. I will just continue with the grey. These bags are so additcing I just want to keep on going. Now I'm considering making the second blue and second tranquil. Knitpicks doesn't have any other kits right now that interest me. In September I have to give one of these to my daughter, her birthday. I will have a hard time giving one up. I'm sure she will choose one from the Warm Palette.
