I went to Namaste farms http://www.namastefarms.com/ I have been communicating with Natalie on Raverly at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/namaste-farms
I had a ball. She was trimming feet of sheep and goats. It was great fun watching her chase down a goat or sheep and flip them over like a pancake and then trim their hooves She is one incredible lady. She is just like she is in her…

My DM broke her D-arm and I spent most of my "free" time taking care of and visiting her. I am very lucky I love my mother and it was a labor of love however I am sure glad she is home. Enough about me here is what…

Victoria, Tara Addessa asked me to contact you about the Charity Scarf knitting... she wasn't sure if you had been able to get to this with the new grandbaby and all. She is getting ready to send out the prizes, and hadn't heard any more from you. Thanks, Susan

Victoria, thanks for adding me to your friends list. It has been so much fun this last year meeting so many wonderful and generous knitters, not only here in the States and Canada but throughout the world. BTW, I'm in love with your chocolate poodle!

Hi, Victoria! I found a kit here for mittens using Palette. At least it should give you an idea of how much yarn to order. Of course, if you're talking about baby mittens, you could probably do those out of leftovers, but I would recommend Stoll sock yarn in fingering weight instead, because they could go into the wash. You can use thicker yarn for mittens, of course. Fingerless mittens are really popular now, and there are lots of patterns for them. Let me know when you get back to spindling! --P

Victoria, the yarn is by Sensations , Soles & More. The color is listed as PRPL/PINK/GRY SOLES & MORE, I picked it up when Joanna had their sale last month. I have used it a couple of times and it matches up quite well when pull from the center.

Peggy, He is beautiful poodles are such great companions.
I would love to visit my home town it has been about 7 years since I have been back. My father was the man who remodeled and ran log heaven restaurant back in the late 50ies. He was a contractor for many years it is fun to go back and see his work.
I just found a local yarn shop I can take a yarn dying class on Sunday I am very excited and hope to make it up there today to pick out my yarn. Victoria
