Sophie at 4 weeks old
Sophie is a rescue Lab who still has brothers and sisters that need a good home. They are part Lab and part Golden Retriever. If you are interested in adopting a homeless puppy, please contact Jean Ann at hertnfab@dtnspeed.net or contact Pets Without Parents shelter in Easton, IL. Their adoption fee is $200 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, innoculations and all basic vetting needed before adoption. There are 2 black puppies left, one male and one female, and also one chocolate male. Please consider adopting from a rescue shelter if you need a chunky new puppy to love.

Hi Bonnie,
Sophie is already out in the backyard pointing at leaves, the birds, the leaves, ...well you know. It is hilarious. She also gathers up the little sticks and small branches around the yard and hoards them in two piles, one on each side of the yard. She tries to hide behind my wilted iris plants when she is called to come inside: "hey, I can't see Mama, so I must be invisible!" She is a funny, lovable puppers. She likes to follow us from room to room and will stay right under or next to us, even sits on our foot so we can't get away without her knowing. So much fun... If you know anyone in or near Central Illinois, Sophie has two brothers and a sister that still need homes, and they are adorable babies.

She lives for pheasant season which is too short as far as she is concerned and is the most loyal and loveable dog ever..... well I'm sure that is what you think of Sophie.
