OH...thanks you very much for the new link .......hoping to hear a lot of feedback from the Zephyr knitters. I want to try but, but want to hear about the pros and cons before I buy........

As soon as I saw the email I ordered a pair of Zephyr in size 8 and tried it out on a shawl I'm making in Gloss. I found that it was harder for me to distinguish stitchs because the back of the stitch shows through and at a distance looks like another stitch on the needle, so I worked it back onto my Harmony's. I next tried them on a BSJ using Encore, a worsted weight yarn, and they were too sticky. I do like the weight, but have not found a practical use for them yet--if I'd bought more than one pair (for which I paid for 2nd day delivery), I would definitely have returned them. So, I'll keep trying them on new projects till I find one on which it works.

So far, I like them. I got sizes 4, 7 and 13. I"m using the size 7s ATM and they're everything that you can expect from Knit Picks. To me, the best selling point is that they're light weight and being clear acrylic, I can work on light or dark colored yarn and not strain my eyes.

I probably won't buy the whole set since I got the sizes that I use mostly, I'll make good use of the ones that I did get.

Hmmmm, let's see. As usual, it takes my order (from the time picked up) 1 day to travel 1032 miles (from Grove City, OH to Dallas, TX). Then it will take 3 days to travel another 200 miles (Dallas to Houston - FedEx Dallas to FedEx Houston to my local post office to my house). So since it left KP warehouse on the 6th, made it to Dallas on the 7th, I might be lucky if it arrives by Tuesday (one day less than the estimated arrival date). So maybe later this week I can let you know how I feel about them.

That is about the time it takes my orders to come to me and I live in OHIO....a bit South East of Cleveland.....so being in the state where the shipping originates isn't that much of an advantage either. Or maybe it just seems that long since every item I order I WANT TOMORROW!!!! :~)

That's true for all of us, but I think KP likes that I am always placing an order for at least $50 so I can get the free shipping. That way, although I'm saving on the shipping, every time I turn around I'm spending at least $50 at KP! I mean, 4 days before I ordered the Zephyrs, I'd ordered the nickel plated ones. Then I saw the video on the Zephyrs.

I do not know if this is the correct place to post this.
I was hoping that there would be a #19 available in the Interchangeable line.. Will you be adding any needles.
I talked to a person at KP and they said they would look into this.
Also do you have 16" cables?

16 inch cables are HIGH on my wish list also.....IF only they would come in the 0-3 fixed needles, I would be a happier KP user than I am now. Though I know with the smaller needle sizes that might be a bit tricky.......keep the new innovations coming...

'They do have the 0-3 fixed in the nickel plated and Harmony. But I think in the Zephyrs may be nice. I'll let you know once I receive my Zephyrs and have a chance to try them.

Well, I know we are always open to suggestions for the interchangeables line! As for the 16inch cable - many of our customers have asked about the potential for a 16″ cable to go with the Options and Harmony needle tips. We don’t offer 16″ cables for the interchangeable tips because the tips are too long to create a circle with such a short cable. However, we offer fixed wood and nickel plated 16″ circular needles in sizes 4-11. They have shorter tips to accommodate the shorter cable. The Zephyr line is something we may do this with in the future as well.
