True! I'll get through the tooth first ;-) and then I'll give it another go with a different project. I appreciate your help!
I use Magic Loop for a lot of my projects, and really like it. I'm sure it is the project, and not the process that you are having trouble with.
I just fixed the image link - thanks for letting us know!

I am still being really dumb about casting on for the tooth fairy pillow. I get the magic loop method but when I'm casting on the first 6 w/ ball A do I cast on the next 12 from ball B on the same needle or on the other needle. I did it both ways and neither look right. I think if I could figure out what ball B was for it would help. The pattern doesn't mention ball B after the first sentence. I feel so dumb!! help

I know how to do the magic loop and I've made plenty of socks, but I can seem to get the yarn right for the tooth fairy pattern. I'm left handed and thought maybe I've got it backwards, but after 3 hours and 60 tries, can't seem to figure it out. Please help, the magic loop tutorial is not helpful in this situation.

This tutorial is pretty good. It is one photo at a time and not video, but it is fairly easy to follow. http://www.cometosilver.com/socks/2mlsocks_start.htm

I recently found a pattern through Vogue On the Go for an adorable toddler wraparound dress that is made all in one piece. It calls for a Knot Pattern stitch and I don't have an idea how to follow the instructions. I would love a tutorial for this stitch through KnitPicks or advise where I may find it elsewhere. Thank you, Diane Schafer

hi

I'm the first time (yet ambitious) sock knitter. I'm knitting 2 at the time on 1 circular. (Reading your post I'm thinking I should have done it with DPNs) I'm done with the first part, the cuff. Anyway, I'm here b/c I have a question but don't know where to post. How do you reinforce the heels and toes (yes, I want my socks to last forever)? I thought of using double thread ONLY at the heels and the toes but don't know how to do it in rounds. Would you help? Thank you so much.
